Temperature Control
CONDUCTION OVEN:
Accurate, repeatable rheology measurements require
precise temperature control.
The VADER 1000 is equiped
with a three zone conduction oven to ensure
temperatrure
uniformity, stability, and response time.
Conduction oven is insulated with airforce grade
ceramic
to avoid excess heat loss.
Patent Pending oven is mounted on a special slide system
to allow for quick sample
exchange, whithout losing
temperature.
Conduction oven can reach
temperatures between ambient -250°C.
OPTIONAL CONVECTION OVEN:
The VADER 1000 has the optional convection oven attachement to decrease heating time, ensure uniform temperature along the entire oven chamber, and by using inert gas prevent degredation of sample during testing.
Convection oven comes with safety switch, which automatically shuts off gas flow when the conduction oven is in the up position. All connections are stainless steel allowing for various gases to be used.
Sample Quenching
The fast removal of the conduction oven from the sample allows for the temperature of the sample to be quickly dropped. For samples where the glass transition temperature is above ambient, this allows for unique freezing of the flow structure for post analysis, such as light scattering, neutron scattering, x-ray scattering, etc.
